Csilla Bischoff

Csilla Bischoff has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and attended her first Kundalini Yoga class as taught by Yogi Bhajan in 2015. The practice resonated deep within and Csilla will be a certified Kundalini yoga instructor as of July 2018 and is ex-cited to add this to her offerings.

She believes the practice of kundalini yoga allows people to connect to their inner be-ings and listen to their heart, completely trusting that deep healing occurs with a con-scious yoga practice. Her teaching style blends her vast knowledge of healthy eating and living.

Csilla is also a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and founder of shininghealth.com. Her approach advocates food as medicine, providing the body with what it needs nutritionally and spiritually to achieve radiant health. She is trained in eastern and western nutrition, modern health counseling and using food as therapy.

Csilla’s mission is to walk alongside others as they embrace who they are and gain the power and confidence to live their healthiest, happiest and most grateful life.

Barbara Fritze

Barbara (Himat Kaur) has been a KRI Certified Kundalini Yoga teacher since
2004. She did her teacher training for Kundalini at Yoga East. Her practice has taken her throughout the country in order to enhance her skills and love for the incredible technology of Kundalini Yoga: six summer solstice celebrations in New Mexico (including numerous White Tantric yoga
meditation workshops), trips to California at Yoga West, to Los Angeles
and Vancouver British Columbia. She also has done several workshops with
Guru Singh at the Kripalu Institute in Stockbridge Mass and has done many
retreats with MahanRishi Singh in Yardley, PA. Sharing the teachings of
Yogi Bhajan is a passion she has had for years. She is thrilled to
join Onyx Yoga Studio as a teacher.

Jill Portaro

Jill dove into the yoga world after quitting her high paced 9-5 job to start her own mental health private practice. She thought yoga would be a good way to help pass the time as she built up her practice. A few months later, she signed up for teacher training and has grown to love the philosophy as well as the asana (practice). She now realizes that yoga is far from just a way to pass time. In fact, her life would be incomplete without it. Jill completed her 200-hour teacher training at Onyx Yoga Studio. Jill brings her warm-hearted energy to help students reach their full potential while feeling guided along the way. With a focus on alignment and breathwork, Jill helps students feel safe and capable in class. Her creativity and honesty will keep you laughing while working towards challenging yourself. She incorporates her mental health background onto the mat through mindfulness based principals leaving students feeling grounded even after leaving the mat.
Experience Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. This class will focus on pranayama breathwork, movement, meditation, and kriyas (cleansing practices to help strengthen the nervous system and subtle body to awaken the kundalini energy.) When this energy awakens you will experience your own innate inner power and joy.. You will leave feeling rejuvenated, energized, balanced, and present.
