Jane Lindemann

Jane is passionate about yoga. She believes that yoga is a life practice, both on and off the mat. Practicing yoga since 2008 she decided to deepen and strengthen her practice by becoming a certified yoga instructor, completing 300 hours of training through Yogadharma with Amy Cronise-Mead and Will Mead, and 100 hours of Anatomy and Therapeutics with Amy Cronise-Mead, this is where she found her foundation of mediation, yoga philosophies, and asana. Jane considers herself a student of life, loving to learn and teach, she hopes to inspire her students with the same foundation and passion that her teachers gave her. Jane is alignment based in her vinyasa teachings, her classes will be challenging but also playful, each students will move through their own practice to the best of their abilities in order for them to reach their full potential.

Judit Duran

Judit is a 500 hours certified Yoga Teacher. She started practicing yoga in 2000 and has been teaching since 2003. Judit is thankful for her teacher Ranjitha Sandeep who inspired her to follow the path of yoga, "sincerely the most beautiful journey I have ever taken". Apart from studying with Ranjitha she has also studied with Cheri Clampett and Arturo Peal. She feels very fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel to India several times to deepen her practice and feels grateful for all the support her husband and 2 kids have always given her. Judit opens her heart and soul in her yoga classes taking care of everybody's individual needs, working mind body and spirit as a whole. Her classes consist of: asanas (postures), meditation, breathing techniques, inspirational readings that go beyond the yoga mat, and guided visualizations. Judit is also a Health Coach. She received her certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in NY. As a health Coach Judit guides her clients to reach their health and life goals by making step by step changes to their food and lifestyle, at a pace that is comfortable for them. Sherry Fahs

As the mother of four active, dyamic young girls, Sherry found her center, her peace and her increased ability to deal with the needs of this busy family, including her own needs, in the practice of yoga. With her certification in Yoga Dharma, her added training in Grounded Kids Yoga and her current study of Anatomy and Therapeutic Training, she enthusiastically teaches students both the physicality and the philosophy of Yoga. Her early educational background in theater and drama and her classroom teaching experience increase her ability to present Yoga in an interesting and sound way. Sherry offers careful explanations and demonstrations to beginners, but she also challenges advanced students to reach their potential. All of Sherry’s classes are imbued with a playful happiness, inspired by her work with children. Come and learn with her!

Karen Marmorato

From 1994 until 2006 Karen traveled 7 days a week with her son CJ, watching him wrestle and sometimes even trying to coach him. When CJ left for college Karen needed to fill that void. That is when Karen discovered veganism and yoga. Karen quickly realized this was her calling. Karen immersed herself in this practice and began her journey becoming an 800 hour certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher. Since this blessed journey began extraordinary changes have manifested in her life. Karen is proud and honored to be part of the Jivamukti lineage, family and community that shapes and leads in the evolution of humanity from the inside out. It is an honor and privilege to teach at Jivamukti Yoga School in NYC and select studios in NJ. Karen is also certified in Prenatal Yoga and completed Baron Baptiste Power Vinysasa level one teacher training. Karen also works 3 days a week at Atelier Salon and Spa in Basking Ridge for the past 10 years. Every week Karen takes continuing education classes to continue her journey and transform. Karen is eternally grateful to her Gurus Sharon Gannon, David Life, Joshua Green and Divya Alter for all their teachings, wisdom, and wonderful stories. Blessing, love, and gratitude to all whom I have encountered on this path…..those who have taught me, those who have transformed me and those who have protected me. Jennifer Gottlick

Jennifer began the practice of yoga as a way to physically challenge herself and to relieve her own stress and anxiety. She developed a deep love of the practice and discovered how beneficial it can be physically, mentally and spirituality. She made the life changing decision to leave her job in the health care industry to focus on deepening her knowledge and sharing the benefits of yoga. She completed her 200 hour RYT through Onyx Yoga Studio. Jennifer developed a knack for the subtlety of anatomy and alignment in the asana. She has the gift of being able to offer her students cues on how to move from the inside and with the breath. She offers options and teaches modifications so every student has something to do. Jennifer has a welcoming and supportive presence. She teaches in a way that has students feeling safe and inspired. Jennifer extends her deepest gratitude to her teacher Shannon Elliott, for her support and encouragement along this journey. She also has gratitude and love for all of her teachers, past, present and future.
Level 1 moves through physical postures at a very moderate pace, usually starting with a sun salution series. Level 1 offers verbal instruction in alignment during the flow, but less than you will find in Beginner Basics, and more than you will find in Mixed Level. Often included is chanting, pranayama (breathing exercises), yoga philosophy and meditation. All levels of practitioner are welcome at Level 1 classes, including Beginners, although those very new to yoga should bring an understanding that the class will be moving and flowing.
